|Peas and Crayons|
I started off with oat bran and almond butter. I probably have been eating this once a day for the past week. (I bought the Bob's Red Mill brand of oat bran and it seems to have more calories than the other one I used to buy from the whole food bulk bin. How does that happen? I thought it was a whole food?) I made this oat bran with almond milk, pumpkin pie spice, one egg white, stevia, and salt and added a blob of that Barney Butter Crunchy Almond Butter that I got from Vitacost.
Lunch was leftover salad from the previous night's dinner. I added some cottage cheese, pear, and avocado to jazz it up. I ate out of the container because I'm lazy.
Between lunch and dinner was pretty scary.
The 'Spooky Snacks' is right on target because I ate some shocking things between lunch and dinner. Around 3ish I had some of that Garrett's carmel crisp popcorn that was in our snack drawer. I ate the last of it to ensure it wouldn't tempt me again (that makes sense, right?). I went to a photography class that was from 5-8 and started to get and tired around 6:30. I went in search of coffee during a break, but had no luck, so I took a Diet Coke to the face. I used to have a bit of obsession with the stuff, but now I only have it on occasion (maybe once every 2 weeks?). I also went through my purse in search of a snack and found this dark chocolate mini and a spearmint. I think I was saving it for an emergency...
The class was 5 million stops away on the train, and I knew I was going to get home late. I texted with my husband while riding the train we decided to meet for Thai food at Star of Siam.
Since it's Halloween....What's your favorite candy? My building is doing trick-or-treating all urban style and I need to go stock up on candy. I really hope kids come or it will be me, sitting by the door eating it all.
