Exhibit A:
Regardless of how my skin looks, how much sleep I've gotten, or how much time I've had to get ready, I throw on sunglasses and I instantly feel more chic.
I was contacted by SunglassesShop.com to pick out some glasses to review on my blog* (fist pump) and I spend far too much time browsing all the possibilities. I wanted to try a style that I didn't currently have in my repertoire, and when I saw this flat-top style, known as 'Dirty Magic', I knew it was meant to be.

The photo on the left is a pair of Cole Haan sunglasses that I came across in New York last winter. The flat top style with angular frames are just edgy enough without being ridiculous. I loved them so much I took a picture to send to my husband (hello...hint!). The only issue was the extravagant price. I don't remember the exact price tag, but I remember thinking that it was too much. When I found this identical style on Sunglassesshop.com, I was smitten.
When they arrived in the mail, I loved the French style case, and the lightweight material of the glasses. On top of that, I really like saying "Le Specs" when people ask what brand they are. Why does everything sound better in French?
I love a deal, and the $70 price tag on these Dirty Magic shades is reasonable. They are great quality designer sunglasses, and I've been rocking them non-stop since they arrived. My Chicago winter gear may be a far cry from fashionable, but at least I have cool shades.

What style of sunglasses do you wear? I like big frames, other than that, I'm not particular. I like what's flattering...
Do you keep your sunglasses in a protective case? I am fanatical about putting my glasses away. This is a major pet peeve when someone has nice sunglasses and simply throws them in their bag or leaves them on the car seat. Control issues.

Those look great on you! I definitely need some new shades. I just ordered regular glasses to give my eyes a break from contacts but I'm going to check this site out fr some sunglasses!
I love your Le Specs sunglasses. I am currently taking french and every word that comes out of my mouth either has a greek accent or an american accent :(. My favorite type of sunglasses are Fossil.
I love sunglasses too! I wear Ray-Bans- wayfarers. They have some pretty awesome new styles out. Love the ones you've been wearing!
I'm a new reader (as of today thanks to Katie at Peace Love and Oats). Totally in love with those sunnies! I just browsed the whole le specs website and I think I need to splurge on new ones :)
Great specs. I really want to get a pair of aviators.
I am a fan of big shades. I don't buy anything that costs more than $15.00. TJ Maxx has really cute, inexpensive shades.
Uh oh. You'd better not watch me put my sunglasses away. Then again, I spent like no money on them (I think they're from Target) so maybe it's not so bad? I am SO PICKY about sunglasses because I have such a little tiny head and face. Most make me look like a bug. You, however, can rock whatever style you want because they all look amazing on you!
I'll close my eyes when you partake in that behavior. I have a really round face, so big frames balance it. Bugs are hot, I love that look.
do it! I did it like 3 years after it was trendy. I'm slow to convert.
Love Katie and glad you came over! Thanks for reading.
