Little Goat

Another breakfast post…
I have been wanting to go here For-ever, so when my friend Marci was visiting from SF over the weekend, I knew I had to make it happen.
My husband was a corned beef newbie, but what better way to try it than on St. Patty’s weekend, prepared by a Top Chef winner. Any other corned beef he has will a disappointment…he definitely set the bar pretty high for all the other instances of corned beef in his life.

I ordered the bacon-egg-kimchi pancake thing (I’m pretty sure that’s what it’s called on the menu). I loved the ingenuity of the dish and the Asian flavors. I don’t know what the vinegary sauce was on the side, but that was the only element I wasn’t crazy about.

Marci went with the Parathas Burrito (I really talked this up because Meghan had raved about it) and it was amazing.  Marci and I go way back (like 8th grade), so I had no qualms reaching across the table and helping myself to this amazing dish. Sharing is caring.

Clearly, we needed side dishes….

Go Big or Go Home.

Confession: I wanted to take this adorable little knife, but I didn’t.

Little Goat was fabulous. All the hype is true. It’s a casual diner atmosphere with a bit of a twist. I can’t wait to go back.

Don’t worry, we walked it off.

Oooh I would LOVE to go to Little Goat! I’ve heard so many good things about it, and that cinnamon roll alone would be worth however long I had to wait/however much I had to pay.
